Oh Seung-ha invited to the 2024 Korea Hanbok Model Competition: "It's an infinite honor"
"It is an infinite honor to be invited to participate in the event to select a hanbok model representing my country," said Oh Seung-ha, who was invited to the Korea Hanbok Model Contest held at the Inspire Convention Center in Incheon on June 29.
The contest, which celebrated its 10th anniversary, was co-hosted by broadcaster Hong Seok-chun.With ambassadors and their families representing all over the world invited, the event began with a congratulatory speech by Korea's top designer Lee Sang-bong, who revisited the charm and meaning of Korean hanbok, which has attracted global attention as K-pop and K-culture.
Oh Seung-ha, who took the stage as a congratulatory singer, sang pop songs for the foreign contestants, including "Love is Here," a popular song that was loved by many as an all-heart in "Mistrot 3," and received applause.
On this day, Oh Seung-ha had a meaningful meeting with Peruvian Ambassador to Korea Paul Duclos, who expressed his gratitude for Oh Seung-ha's participation in the preliminary stage of the K-Pop World Festival in Peru on July 6 and the Korean traditional culture performance on July 7.
As Korea has been selected as the next host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit to be held in Peru in November, it is expected that we will showcase our traditional music and K-trots to the rest of the world, including Peru and South America.Oh Seung-ha will be accompanied by magician Lee Hoon, who will perform as a 'traditional magician' and combine our traditions with magic."
Meanwhile, Oh Seung-ha recently finished recording his new album with the goal of releasing it this summer.
