Giant Parting Ways With The Black After 8 Years Together "I'll See How Life Goes From Here"

Singer Giant has parted ways with his longtime label, The Black Label. <"I have completed my exclusive contract with THE BLACK Label, which I have walked with for the past eight and a half years," Giant announced on his social media on Feb. 2. "It has been a precious time for me to learn a lot as an artist and a colleague, and to know a little more about the world," he said, thanking his colleagues.

In closing, Giant added, "What will the rest of my life look like?"

Previously, Giant signed with The Black Label, founded by former YG Entertainment producer Teddy, from his agency Amoeba Culture in 2016. On March 1, the label announced the end of its exclusive contract with Giant, about eight and a half years later.

We have completed our exclusive contract with THE BLACKLABEL, which we have walked together for the past 8 years and 6 months.

From before we had an office until now. It's been a precious time where I've learned a lot as an artist and a colleague, and learned a little bit more about the world.

I'd like to thank my eternal teacher, Teddy, and all the staff members who have stood by my side. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to my fellow producers and artists.

I can't wait to see where life takes me from here.
