Park Joo-hyun and Choi Ye-bin's relationship revealed, starting at 2.6% in 'Perfect Family'

"The Perfect Family" premiered to lower-than-expected ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of KBS2's "Perfect Family" (directed by Yukisada Isao), which premiered the previous day on the 14th, garnered 2.6% viewership among households nationwide.

"Perfect Family" is a mystery-thriller drama about a seemingly happy and perfect family who become increasingly suspicious of each other following the murder of their daughter. It was highly anticipated as it was KBS's first arboretum drama in two years. Two years ago, Bada, starring Do Kyung-soo and Lee Se-hee, had a high of 6.3% and a low of 4.3%.

In the first episode, the uncomfortable relationship between Choi Sun Hee (Park Joo Hyun) and Lee Soo Yeon (Choi Ye Bin), who grew up in the same nursery school, was revealed. At the end of the episode, the secret of the twisted fate that led to Sun-hee being adopted instead of Soo-yeon was revealed. This prompted Soo-yeon to take off her wig and show Seon-hee her burn marks, asking, "Do you want to learn? What you've done to me," leaving the audience wondering what happens next.

Meanwhile, episode 2 of "Perfect Family" airs tonight (May 15) at 9:50 p.m. KST.
