Signature, Everglow, Candy Shop, Junie, Twice Nayeon

The second week of June (June 10 - June 16) saw the comebacks of groups Signature, Everglow, and Candy Shop, while TWICE's Nayeon released a new solo album and singer Junie released her first new music in two years.

◆ Signature - "Sweetie but Saltie" (Released June 10)

Signature

Signature's fifth mini-album "Sweetie Off Saltie" contains a total of four songs, including the title track "Pungdok. As the title suggests, the four tracks are about sweet and salty love and troubles. The title track is a transparent and intuitive song about the determination to fall in love without hesitation. It has a refreshing, vintage sound with a touch of summer, a funky, groovy rhythm, and vocal chops.

Kim Ji-ha - An unassuming song that seems to epitomize the K-pop girl group.

Kim Han Gil - A cool sound to beat the heat.

Kim Jongjong - The title is perfect for summer, and the song is also attractive.


◆ Everglow - 'Zombie' (ZOMBIE) (Release date June 10)

Everglow's fifth single "Zombie" contains three songs, including the album's title track and the title track of the same name. The title track is a dance song that dynamically depicts the heartbreaking emotions of being hurt in love.

Kim Ji Ha - It depends on your taste, but I personally don't like it.

Kim Han-gil - Spooky and terrifying.

Kim Jongjong - A concept that will divide opinion.


◆ Candy Shop - 'Girls Don't Cry' (Release date June 12)


Candy Shop's second mini-album "Girls Don't Cry" contains four songs, including the double title track "Don't Cry" and "Tumbler (Hot & Cold)". "Don't Cry" is a song that conveys comfort and courage to those in difficult situations. It contains a warm message to overcome difficult situations and create a sparkling summer day together over a refreshing sound. "Tumbler (Hot & Cold)" is a song about the temperature difference of love over time, and introduces a new musical style of Candy Shop based on an upbeat synth sound.

Kim Ji-ha - Easy listening songs.

Kim Han-gil - Decent songs that lack impact.

Kim Jongjong - Good message but outdated melody and lyrics.


◆ Juni - 'Dopamine' (dopamine) (Release date June 13)

Junior's new mini album "Dopamine" contains six songs, including the title track "RUSH" (feat. Bobby). The album colorfully expresses the emotions and wildness of pleasure between stress and more dopamine in each song. The title track is an R&B and soul genre song about feeling pleasure in itself by fighting between longing and the wall of reality.

Kim Ji-ha - 'Complications' from track 4.

Kim Han-gil - A unique and sophisticated tone that stimulates the ears.

Kim Jongjong - A tracklist that doesn't leave anything to be desired, and beats that delight the ears.


◆ TWICE's Nayeon - 'Me' (NA) (June 14)

Nayeon's second mini album 'Me' contains a total of 7 songs, including the title track 'ABCD'. The title track is a pop dance song full of Nayeon's charm that tells the other person that my type is from A to Z and that she will seduce them by telling them about love from one to ten.

Kim Ji Ha - 10 years of genre digestion.

Kim Han-gil - More daring. Maturity is evident.


Kim Jongjong - More matured vocals and song atmosphere.
