'Pyramid Game' Reaction Is Overwhelming, tving Weekly Paid Subscribers No. 1

"Pyramid Game" has become the No. 1 paid subscriber in Teevee's weekly subscriber count.

According to Teevee on the 11th, the original series "Pyramid Game" (written by Choi Soo-i and directed by Park So-yeon) became the No. 1 paid subscriber for the week, proving its popularity.

The overseas response is also impressive. The BBC said, "As the only K-content to be invited to France's 'Series Mania,' 'Pyramid Game' offers a glimpse into the harsh reality of the Korean people," and the British review magazine NME said, "Every character is densely developed and it's a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat."

The Pyramid Game follows the brutal survival pecking order of students in the fifth class of Baekyeon Girls' High School, where perpetrators, victims, and bystanders are all mixed together.

The fifth and sixth episodes, which were released on the 7th, depicted Sung-soo (Kim Ji Yeon) standing firm against the counterattacks of Baek Ha-lin (Jang Da-ah), the "game designer," and provided a thrilling catharsis. In particular, the episodes that did not appear in the original webtoon drew a lot of attention by adding new fun and tension.

Meanwhile, 'Pyramid Game' episodes 7 and 8 will be released on the 14th.
