Kim Yeo Jin shines in 'We, Home' special appearance

Actress Kim Yeo-jin made a special appearance on 'We, Home' and made a brief but powerful impact.

Kim Yeo Jin appeared as Soi's mom in MBC's Friday night drama "We, Home," which aired on the 15th. The drama depicted her meeting with Yeong Young (Kim Hee Sun) and Sa Kang (Lee Hye Young) after learning that her daughter Soi (Han Sung Min) is pregnant with Do Hyun's (Jae Chan) child.

So-yi's mom says that So-yi is a high school senior and is busy preparing for the SATs, so when Sa-gang asks what she's going to do about the situation, So-yi replies, "It's really Do-hyun's child," to which So-yi's mom responds, "Are you saying my child is lying?" When the topic of marriage came up, Sa-kang interjected, "Marriage? Are you trying to block our grandchildren's path?" To which Soi-yi's mom replied, "It's our Soi-yi who's blocking the path! Honestly, there's no risk to the house with a boy as long as he's gone. But with a girl, it's different. Even if you give birth to her, there's a risk," she said angrily, showing her maternal love for her daughter.

She then asked, "Is 500 million enough?" and her eyes shook at Sa Kang's suggestion of using money to solve the problem, but she left a strong impression as she stormed out of the room saying, "Is this something that can be solved with money?"

Kim Yeo-jin is a seasoned performer as Soi's mom. Her breathtaking confrontation with Lee Hye-young enhanced the drama. Most importantly, despite being a special appearance, her presence stood out as an amplifier that made us want to know more about the story to come.

In addition to this, Kim Yeo-jin appears in the recently released movie "Drive" as Detective Park Jung-sook, who tries to rescue popular YouTuber Yuna (Park Joo-hyun) after she is kidnapped. "Drive," starring Kim Yeo-jin, is playing to rave reviews in theaters nationwide.
