IU completes '2024 World Tour' with London + Berlin... Bangkok next

Halfway through her 2024 World Tour, IU has successfully completed her London and Berlin dates.

IU completed her '2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT' at OVO Arena Wembley in London and Uber Arena in Berlin on the 21st and 23rd, respectively.

IU kicked off the concert with "Mr. Hall," which was performed with child dancers from each city. The audience responded with shouts of joy and cheers as the artist appeared on the lift. She then performed a series of her hits, including "Jam Jam," "Uffu," "Beep Beep," "Obliviate," "Celebrity," "Blueming," "Eight," "Coin," "I'll Be Your Audience," "Night Letter," "Shopper," "Outside of Time," "You and Me," "Love wins all," "Shh..," and "Twenty-Three," and heated up the stage with her passionate live performances and dynamic choreography.

In particular, IU had a surprise for the audience at the London concert, when she showed up with a whole guitar. She performed "Like A Star," a 2006 song by British artist Corinne Bailey Rae. The song had a special meaning for the local audience, as IU reportedly learned it when she first started playing guitar and has often said she loves it.

After the official set list, the atmosphere reached an all-time high with "Someday," "Lilac," "Love poem," and "Palette" in the encore, and "You," "Lilac," "Hold My Hand," "Love poem," and "Palette" in Berlin. The European fans were also passionate about expressing their love for IU at every moment, and organized cheers, chants, and 'slogan events'.

Seeing this, IU said, "This is my third visit to London in my life, and if it was raining before, this time the weather was too good from the beginning. I was going to remove 'strawberry moon' from the set list, but on the day of the concert, I added it back because I heard that the strawberry moon would appear. It's like a drama of fate that they organized such a slogan event," he said, expressing his gratitude. In Berlin, the slogan event was held at 'Outside of Time,' and he said, "I cried because it made me more immersed in the lyrics. The lyrics of the song, 'To finally meet the reason for waiting,' seemed to be a reflection of IU and her fans, so it was a genius phrase at a genius time," he said.

IU's fan love continued in Europe, where she not only spoke in English and German, which she had studied in advance, but also released different videos from the VCRs of her performances. In London, IU wrote handwritten messages for her fans in her hotel room, and in Berlin, she read carefully from a message book prepared by local fans. In addition to this, she also gave out reverse engineering gifts to all of her fans, and in "Coin," she gave out coin props to fans in each city who showed passionate support.

After the performance, one of the local media outlets, 'viewofthearts', said, "Every single song was delivered with heartbreaking emotion and precision. I don't know if there is another Korean female artist who can deliver such a powerful performance," and "It was one of the best concerts I've attended this year."

After meeting her European fans, IU will next visit Bangkok on her world tour.
