BTS zine global effect tops brand reputation in June

BTS's Jin and ARMY, along with the rest of the group, have been in the spotlight.

According to the big data analysis of boy group personal brand reputation in June 2024 conducted by the National Corporate Reputation Institute, BTS Jin was ranked first, followed by ASTRO Chaeunwoo, and BTS Jimin.

It is the result of analyzing the brand reputation index with the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index created by extracting 64,291,771 brand big data of 730 boy group individuals from May 15, 2024 to June 15, 2024 and analyzing the behavior of consumers on the boy group's personal brand. The detailed analysis shows that brand consumption decreased by 6.20%, brand issues decreased by 9.95%, brand communication increased by 16.37%, and brand diffusion decreased by 6.26%.

Boy Group's personal brand reputation in June 2024, as analyzed by big data, was ranked 1st by BTS Jin, 2nd by ASTRO Chaeunwoo, 3rd by BTS Jimin.

The BTS Jin brand, which ranked first in the boy group's personal brand reputation, was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 3,835,261, with an engagement index of 203,157, a media index of 594,169, a communication index of 1,650,805, and a community index of 1,387,130. Compared to 1,263,604 in May, the brand reputation index increased by 203.52%;

The second place brand, Astro Chaeunwoo, was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 3,604,710, with an engagement index of 970,449, a media index of 804,053, a communication index of 854,655, and a community index of 975,552. This is a 24.97% increase compared to May's Brand Reputation Index of 2,884,446;

In third place, BTS's Jimin brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 2,258,664, with an engagement index of 292,850, a media index of 283,203, a communication index of 752,322, and a community index of 930,289. This is a 25.64% increase compared to the 1,797,755 brand reputation index in May;

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Institute, said, "According to the June 2024 brand big data analysis of boy group personal brand reputation, BTS's Jin brand ranked first. When analyzing the boy group personal brand category, it decreased by 1.81% compared to 65,478,517 boy group personal brand big data in May. The detailed analysis shows that brand consumption decreased by 6.20%, brand issues decreased by 9.95%, brand communication increased by 16.37%, and brand diffusion decreased by 6.26%," said Reputation Analysis.

He continued, "BTS's gin brand, which ranked No. 1 in personal brand reputation among boy groups in June 2024, was highly ranked for 'global, thank you, and congratulations' in link analysis, and highly ranked for 'free hug, ARMY, and fan meeting' in keyword analysis. The positive-negative ratio analysis was 95.07%," he added.
