Park Se-ri's Daejeon house from 'Nahonsan' is up for auction

The Daejeon home of golfer-turned-broadcaster Park Se-ri, who has been at odds with her father, has been auctioned off amid several on-air appearances.

On March 14, Women's Donga reported that a court has decided to force Park Se-ri's Yuseong-gu real estate in Daejeon to be auctioned.

According to the report, there are two properties up for auction. The first property is where Park's parents live and includes a 1,785-square-meter plot of land, a house, garage, and business facilities built on the land.

The second property is a 539.4-square-meter plot of land next to the first property and a four-story building built on it. The four-story building was built in 2019 under the name of Park Se-ri, who was introduced in MBC's "I Live Alone" in 2022.

The auctioned property was acquired by Park Se-ri and her father in 2000 with a half share. It previously went to court auction in 2016, but was canceled in July 2017 after Park bought her father's entire stake four months later.

But another creditor emerged, and in November 2020, a decision was made to start the forced auction again. There was a lull after Park filed and was granted a stay of execution, but she and her creditors are continuing to pursue litigation, including an expungement of the title transfer registry.

Previously, the Park Se-ri Hope Foundation filed a police complaint against Park's father in September last year, accusing him of falsifying private documents. The legal conflict between Park and her father is also being investigated by prosecutors. "Park's father received an offer to participate from a company that established an international golf school and secretly made and used the foundation's corporate seal," the foundation's defense lawyer explained, adding, "The establishment company submitted related documents to the administrative agency, and we later found out that the seal was forged and sued them."

In response, the Park Se Ri Hope Foundation announced on its website that "Coach Park has no plans to attract or establish an international golf school or Park Se Ri International School (including golf academies and golf academies in Taean, Saemangeum, and other places across the country).
