Mon-Ek I.M. Names New DJ for 'Kiss the Radio'

MONSTA X's I.M has been selected as the new DJ for 'Kiss the Radio'.

According to Sony Music Entertainment Korea (Sony Music), I.M will take over as the 12th DJ of "Kiss the Radio" on July 1 and will meet listeners.

I.M., who debuted with the group MONSTA X, signed an exclusive contract with Sony Music in 2022 and began his solo career in earnest. Since then, I.M. has released solo albums such as "OVERDRIVE" and "Off The Beat," and he has been participating in the writing and composing of his albums, demonstrating his true talent as a hexagonal musician.

I.M. has also captivated listeners with his real-time interactive format on Naver Now's "Late Night Idol," where he co-hosted with fellow group member Kihyun, and recently hosted KBS K-POP's "I.M. on the Beat" on YouTube, where he leads candid conversations with artists from various fields.

"Kiss the Radio" is a late-night radio program where idol DJs such as Denian, Super Junior, Lee Hongki, Day6's Youngkay, and BTOB's Lee Minhyuk have interacted with MZ generation listeners.

"MONSTA X I.M.'s Kiss the Radio" will premiere on KBS Cool FM (89.1 MHz) at 10 p.m. on January 1.
