"See You in a Bigger Venue" ESPA, Jamsil's 'Supernova' Energy

The group completed the performance at an upgraded level.

The second solo concert of aespa (Carina, Winter, Giselle, and Ning Ning), "2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : PARALLEL LINE –" was held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on the 30th.
The concert venue featured large LEDs on both sides of the stage that captured the members' visuals in high-definition. The members were delighted by the fans' enthusiastic cheers from the moment they arrived. "It's a beautiful night," Winter said, "I think the energy is much better than yesterday," and Carina announced, "You're going to have a great time with us tonight."

Espa then unleashed a barrage of mega-hits, including "Supernova" and "Armageddon," the double title track from their recently released and powerful first album, as well as "Black Mamba," "Next Level," and "Spicy," to the delight of their fans.

SPAR also showed off their individual charms during their solo performances, especially as the members participated in the songwriting process, showing off their matured capabilities as musicians.

First, Gisele performed "Dopamine," a dreamy R&B song that she wrote and composed, Carina performed "UP," a hip-hop dance song that she wrote, Ning Ning performed "Bored," an R&B dance song that she wrote, and Winter performed "Spark," a song that she wrote and composed and featured a cool EDM sound.

After their solo performances, the members showed satisfaction. Carina introduced, "What's special about this solo stage is that all four of us worked hard to participate in each solo song."

Giselle then said, "'Dopamine' is charged up. This song was written from scratch with a songwriter I know. We discussed the concept, lyrics, and sound together, and I'm so happy to be able to show you the song in person. I hope you like it a lot. We worked hard on it, so please love it."

Karina added, "This is my first time writing a full song. I was partially involved before, but this was a great opportunity to participate in songwriting, so I'm so happy to be able to share it with you. The members brought amazing songs with trendy sounds, so I thought I'd do something completely old-school, so I did a hip-hop song."

Ning said, "I also participated in the songwriting this time. I also worked on the choreography. Last time it was a hard and cool concept, but this time I painted it a little bit and it's closer to what I want to show. It's a free and painted vibe, so I hope you enjoy it. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to release it later."

"The meaning of the song 'Spark' is that if we have one small spark, we can become more fiery," Winter said. I have my Fandom Mai on my in-ears and microphone, and I really wanted to share this stage with them," Winter said. Winter, who was filmed from the side of the stage and shown on screen with the audience, said, "I wanted to do something with the Mai's behind me, so I organized it this way. We're going to show you a lot of new things about us, so please look forward to it."

The concept for this performance was based on the story of Espa's new worldview, which has expanded into a multiverse, as the title suggests. Accordingly, the VCR video and stage production were organically connected to enhance the immersion of the performance. Various devices such as stair lifts, sparklers, and fog curtains were added to the performance to make it a highlight.

At the end of the performance, the members thanked the fans. Winter said, "I have so many emotions. First of all, I just want to say thank you so much to the boys, and thank you for giving me so many good memories. Thank you for your time. Espa, we're going to see a lot of different sides of you. There are so many different aspects of this concert that we haven't shown you yet. I hope you can look forward to more in the future. Next time, it would be nice to do it in a bigger venue and with more of my friends."

Giselle said, "Thank you for having such a fun time with us. The staff must have been busy preparing for the concert, so thank you for supporting us. I hope to see you for a long time because you will work hard."

Karina said, "Mai, without you, there is no point in practicing and performing for a hundred days. We are only complete because of you. Thank you for being with us today. All the Mai's, thank you for being with us. While preparing for this concert, I felt a lot of things professionally and personally, but I thought the most valuable thing was the conversation. I think I got closer to the staff around me while talking to them. The maids were also unfamiliar at first, but I think we can get closer through interacting with them, so I wish we could get closer and see them for longer. I'm so glad that we were able to finish without anyone getting hurt, and I hope the future will be full of gratitude."

Ning said, "Thank you so much for having fun with us for two days in a row. We prepared this concert immediately after the activity, so we didn't have time, but we tried hard and wanted to show something good to my people, so we and many people in the company suffered a lot together. We are always trying to show good things. I will go to many cities in the future, so let's see you then. I'm very grateful and will work harder."

Meanwhile, starting with the Seoul concert, ESP will continue their world tour in 14 cities in Asia and Australia, including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama, Singapore, and Osaka in July, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Sydney in August, and Melbourne, Macau, and Bangkok in September, and will expand their tour to the Americas and Europe early next year to kick off their global activities.
