'Hwa In-ga Scandal' Jeong Ji-hoon "Action Band NO, I want to get paid"

'Hwa Inga Scandal''s Jung Ki-Hoon revealed why he performed the action scenes himself without stunt actors.

On the morning of February 2, a production presentation for the Disney+ original series 'Hwa Inga Scandal' (written by Choi Yoon-Jung and directed by Park Hong-Kyun) was held at Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Ha-neul, Jung Ji-hoon, Jung Eun-woon, Seo Yi-sook, Ki Eun-se, and director Park Hong-gyun were on hand.

"The Painter Scandal" is a deadly scandal drama in which Wan-soo (Kim Ha-neul), the chairwoman of the Now Foundation, and her bodyguard Do-yoon (Jung Ji-hoon), whose life is threatened by an inheritance war over the top 1% of Korean painters, come face-to-face with the secrets of the painters.

On this day, Kim Ha-neul pointed out the 'action scene' as a viewing point of the work, saying, "I tried action shooting and watched the actors do it, and I was really excited. I even saw me when I wasn't filming. I was so curious. How well you did without a substitute."

However, Jung Ji-hoon said, "He was there every time I did an action scene. But when I asked him, 'Where did you go?' He was sleeping inside. If we fought indoors, she would lie down on the bed. He watched a lot while lying down."

He also revealed, "I feel bad about using stunt people. It's something I can do, and if I get paid for it, I have to do it. That's why I always say I'll do it myself. I'm comfortable with that. If it's not enough, I fill in with my own ad-libs. I thought it came out better than I expected, so I thought the director's directing skills were amazing."
