Yoo Yeon-seok reunites with director Park Chan-wook, but is "receiving work proposals and reviewing them"

Actor Yoo Yeon-suk is in the running to star in director Park Chan-wook's new movie.

An official from the company King Kong by Starship told SportsToday on the 2nd, "Yoo Yeon-seok has been offered a work by director Park Chan-wook. We are currently reviewing it."

The work is a project that director Park Chan-wook has been preparing for a long time. Not much information is known about the project as he is in the process of finalizing the original rights contract, but actors Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, and Lee Sung-min have confirmed their roles, raising expectations.

If Yoo Yeon-seok's casting is finalized, it will reunite him with Park for the first time in 21 years since 2003's Old Boy. Yoo Yeon-seok made a name for himself in the movie by portraying Yoo Ji-tae as a teenager.

Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon-suk is set to return to the small screen in the second half of the year with the MBC drama "The Call You Made Now.
