'Inside Out 2' Tops the Weekend for the 3rd Week in a Row... with a Cumulative Total of 5.63 Million

'Inside Out 2' tops the weekend box office for the third consecutive week

According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Movie Ticketing System, last weekend (June 28-30), the movie 'Inside Out 2' was seen by 1,038,814 people for a cumulative total of 5,638,991, topping the weekend box office for the third consecutive week.

Number two is 'Hijacking'. It was seen by 331,972 people for a total of 1,085,449. In third place was "The Handsome Guys," with 329,135 admissions for a total of 458,887.

In fourth place was "A Quiet Place: Day One," with 203,363 admissions for a total of 358,338. In fifth place was "Zone of Interest". It was seen by 8982 people, bringing its total to 161,954."

Meanwhile, "Breakout" took the top spot with 30.3% as of 7:00 a.m. on Day 1. The movie depicts the life-and-death chase between Gyunam, a North Korean soldier who begins his escape for tomorrow, and Hyun Hyun, an officer in the South Korean security forces who chases him to protect today. It opens in theaters on March 3.
