It has been a year since the late actor Park Kyu-chae passed away. She was 84 years old.

Park Gyu-chae passed away from pneumonia at around 1:05 p.m. on January 1 last year.

Born in 1938, Park Gyu-chae graduated from Korea University's Department of Agriculture and began her acting career at the National Theater. In 1961, she worked as a voice actor for MBC Radio and the following year, she began her career as a KBS talent.

Park Gyu-chae was loved by many people for her roles in dramas such as "25 Hours of Ambition," "The First Republic," "Violets," "Love and Ambition," "The Three Kingdoms," "Countryside Diary," and "Captain Sousa."

Her last drama appearance was in 2007's "Yeon Gae Rumor."
