'Hwa Inga Scandal' Kim Ha Neul→Jung Ji Hoon, confident of becoming Disney+ top 1% .

Korea's top 1% family is coming. Can 'Hwa Inga Scandal' become the top 1% of Disney+ works.

On the morning of the 2nd, a production presentation of the Disney+ original series 'Hwa Inga Scandal' (written by Choi Yoon-jung and directed by Park Hong-gyun) was held at Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, with actors Kim Ha-neul, Jung Jung-hoon, Jung Eun-woon, Seo Yi-sook, Ki Eun-se, and director Park Hong-gyun in attendance.

'The Hwa Family Scandal' is a deadly scandal drama in which Wan-soo (Kim Ha-neul), the chairwoman of the Now Foundation, whose life is threatened by an inheritance war over the top 1% of Korean painters, and her bodyguard Do-yoon (Jung Ji-hoon) come face-to-face with the family's secrets.

On the day, Kim Ha-neul said, "I enjoyed watching a movie called 'Bodyguard' in the past. I am from that generation. It's been a long time since I've seen something like that, and I'm curious about the events that happen in it. There are various stories in each episode, so I got sucked into the script."

Later, Jeong Jung-hoon said, "I've been a fan of director Park Hong-gyun since I was a kid. I've had the opportunity to work with him before, but unfortunately, I missed it," he said, adding, "Kim Ha Neul is a muse for all of us. I've always wanted to work with him, but we finally got to do it together. Not to mention Seo Yi-sook. She's the best. For me, she's an actress I've always wanted to meet. I also wanted to meet Ki Eun-se and Jung Eun-woon someday, and here we are. They were all cast before me."

However, Jung Jung-hoon said, "I read the script, but I didn't have anything to say. I didn't have many lines because I'm a bodyguard," he said, "but I needed a heavy punch. I had to coordinate a lot with my acting teacher and voice teacher to get that tone. I suffered a lot." In response, Seo Yi-sook said, "There is a heavy one. You can look forward to it."

Seo Yi-sook also said, "I have the same idea as Jung Jung-hoon. When I met them, I realized why they have been worthy of their names so far. They played their roles calmly and well. I love it when actors share that kind of chemistry. I was happy while filming."

"Honestly, I'm overwhelmed to even be here right now," Jung Geu-woon said. In fact, I took a long break. I really wanted to do the movie, but it was a role that I really liked and wanted to do, so I told the director, 'I'll do it no matter what. "I'm still grateful to this day that he chose me," he said, "because I'm not sure how the movie turned out, and I'm not sure how I felt about it. I don't know how it turned out or how well I expressed myself, but I'm so grateful that it came out."

Ki Eun-se said, "I didn't choose the movie, but they chose me, so I joined them without hesitation. I am honored to be with the director and the great actors. I'm overwhelmed to be sitting here."

Kim Ha-neul's favorite part of watching "Hwa Inga Scandal" is the action. She said, "It was so cool. I actually have the most lines. I talk a lot, so the acting part wasn't difficult," she said, adding, "But in the action scenes, I don't have many lines. I just yell and stare. But I was excited the whole time. I was excited because someone sacrificed his body to fight for me, and I wonder if that would have been reflected on the screen."

In response, Jung Soo-hoon said, "I wanted the action to be cool, so I talked a lot with the martial arts director. I acted while paying attention to that part." He added, "Rather than editing a lot of cuts, we took a long take. We utilized the concept of showing everything in front of us. I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure, but I'm looking forward to it." He added, "I can't speak. I speak with my eyes. He did a good job with his eyeballs."

In this regard, director Park Hong-gyun said, "It was easier and more relaxed than the action scenes in his previous films because he is such a skilled craftsman and has many ideas. There are many difficult conditions when shooting action scenes, such as alternating with actors, and he has almost mastered that. The idea was also great. You can look forward to the outcome of the action, not just the shooting."

Kim Ha-neul, who made her first OTT work with "Hwa Inga Scandal," said, "I'm also new to OTT work. But I didn't feel much different in the field. The field is a space where you work hard with actors and directors." "As a viewer who used to watch Disney+, I'm looking forward to opening our drama on that channel. After watching the trailer today, I feel a little more confident. When I first read the script, what drew me in was the subtle accident. But when you see it, you can't get away from it. The characters are simple, so I'm hopeful that overseas viewers will be able to follow the drama well."

Jung Ji Hoon also said, "As a Disney+ viewer, I didn't feel new, but it was the same old scene," adding, "It was fun filming with my family every time. It was fun to shoot with my family, and it wasn't a new experience for me to shoot OTT for the first time, but it was always the same scene. I've done a lot of movies, but there are times when you shouldn't expect success, and there are times when unexpected movies do well, so I just do my best and think that the success depends on the will of the heavens and the people who watch it."

However, Jung Ji-hoon emphasized, "I hope it will be the best movie on Disney+ this year."

"Hwa Inga Scandal" will be released on Disney+ on March 3, with two episodes every Wednesday, for a total of 10 episodes.
