Oh My Girl's Seunghee Confirms Casting in Drama 'Jeongga'... Kim Tae Ri's Motivation Abstract

Oh My Girl's Seung Hee has confirmed her appearance on "Jung Ega".

Seunghee's agency WM Entertainment announced on the 19th, "Seunghee will play the role of Green in tvN's new drama 'Jeonggaega' (written by Choi Hyo Bi, directed by Jung Jung In) and challenge the second Jung Pole. We look forward to your interest." The agency announced the casting.

Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, the drama tells the story of Jeong Nyeo (Kim Tae Ri), a girl born with a sound, who joins the Women's National Theater in the 1950s, just after the Korean War.

In the drama, Seung-hee plays the role of Dong-green, a research student who auditioned and joined the Maeran Gugak Troupe with Jung-yeon (Kim Tae-ri). Green is a cute character who hates and bullies Jung-yeon, but is actually simple and easy to read, and will add to the fun of the drama by playing the role of licorice.

In particular, Seung-hee, who is the lead vocalist of the group Oh My Girl, is already known for her vocal skills through various stages, but as the story is about a women's national theater troupe, Seung-hee is said to be enthusiastic about preparing for this production by learning the sound for months before filming.

In addition, Seung-hee, who took on her first full-time acting role through KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama "Oasis" last year and impressed viewers with her ability to perfectly portray delicate emotions and plump characters, is attracting a lot of attention to see what kind of charm she will show in this drama.

"Retirement Age" is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
