'Sunuptu' Byun Woo-seok, Lim Young-woong, BTS... No. 1 star brand reputation in June

The big data analysis of star brand reputation in June 2024 showed that Byun Woo-seok ranked first, Lim Young-woong second, and BTS third. ​

The Korea Corporate Reputation Institute measured the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index of star brands through consumer behavior analysis of 27.86 million 9943 star brand big data measured from the 30th of last month to the 30th of this month. This is a decrease of 9.82% compared to 23,051,827 star brand big data in May. ​

The Byun Woo-seok brand, which ranked first in star brand reputation, was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 9.301 million, with an engagement index of 2.744 million, a media index of 2.3522 million, a communication index of 206,2993, and a community index of 211,3503. This is a 60.24% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 5.847 million in May.​

The second-ranked Lim Young-woong brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 7.47 million, with an engagement index of 1.101 million, a media index of 1.854 million, a communication index of 2.171 million, and a community index of 2.483 million. This is a 21.18% decrease compared to May's brand reputation index of 9.48 million. ​​

The third-ranked BTS brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 6.493 million, with an engagement index of 291,399, a media index of 2.262 million, a communication index of 1.549 million, and a community index of 2.662 million. This is an increase of 127.76% compared to May's brand reputation index of 2.859 million.​​

The fourth-ranked Seventeen brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 4.036 million, with an engagement index of 393,807, media index of 1.086 million, communication index of 1.053 million, and community index of 1.464 million. This is an increase of 21.88% compared to May's brand reputation index of 3.396 million.​​

The fifth-ranked Ive brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 3.912 million, with an engagement index of 364,4078, a media index of 949,225, a communication index of 1.154 million, and a community index of 1.481,135. This is a 34.82% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 6.123 million in May."​​​

Byun Woo-seok's brand has proven its popularity by creating a syndrome with fandom. The second-ranked Lim Young-woong brand is creating new records with a strong fan base that is creating a good influence. The BTS brand, ranked third, has been actively engaging with domestic and international ARMYs as individual members continue to release music. The No. 4 Seventeen brand is strengthening communication with fans around the world through global activities, and the No. 5 Ive brand is expanding into the Lucky brand as it becomes a positive icon," said the brand analysis. ​

It continued, "When analyzing the star brand category, the number of star brand big data in June 2024 decreased by 9.82% compared to 23,051,827 star brand big data in May. The detailed analysis shows that brand consumption decreased by 22.37%, brand issue decreased by 9.18%, brand communication decreased by 15.60%, and brand diffusion increased by 1.77%."
