'Veteran 2' Director Ryu Seung-wan "Exercise is the worst way to relieve stress"
'Veteran 2' director Ryu Seung-wan shared his thoughts on actor Jung Hae-in.
On the afternoon of the 11th, at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, director Ryu Seung-wan, who directed the movie "Veteran 2" (directed by Ryu Seung-wan and produced by Ouyu Naegang), and Sports Today met with him for an interview to commemorate the movie's release.
"Veteran 2" is an action crime investigation drama in which the youngest detective Park Sun-woo (Jung-in Jung) joins the team of veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min), who catches the bad guys to the end, and chases a serial killer who has made the world shake. It opens in theaters on the 13th.
On this day, director Ryu Seung-wan said about Jung Jung-in, who newly joined the team as the villain Park Sun-woo, "I first greeted him in 'Startup,' and I thought that the offspring of Dasan was different. He was unruffled and stiff to everyone. People like us have something crooked, so I thought there must be something in him," he joked."
He continued, "I developed a personal crush on 'Jung In'. I drank alcohol to see if he'd be disheveled, but he wasn't. I kept scratching and thinking. I kept scratching and thinking."
But Ryu Seung-wan said, "When I asked him how he relieves stress, he said, 'Exercise. It was the worst way," he said, adding, "It was eerie to see him laughing about it."
