'Mystery Investigators' Jung Jong-yeon "Gorgeous Carina, Kim Do-hoon = Immersive beyond imagination"

'Mystery Investigators' PD Jung Jong-yeon talks about cast members Carina and Kim Do-hoon.

On the 27th, an interview was held with PD Jung Jong-yeon of the Netflix drama "Mystery Investigators" at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

"Mystery Investigators" is an adventure mystery drama in which Hyeri, Lee Eun-ji, Carina, John Park, Lee Yong-jin, and Kim Do-hoon become members of the secret investigation organization "XIN" and track and solve strange cases that cannot be explained scientifically. It is the new work of PD Jung Jong-yeon, who directed 'The Great Escape' and 'Girls' High School Detective Class' series 'Devil's Plan'.

On this day, PD Jung Jong-yeon said of the six investigators, "What I thought was good was that they got along quickly, and from the second recording, there was a feeling that they had chemistry. Even though they are not professional entertainers, Kim Do Hoon and Carina had big question marks and high expectations because they had to be thrown into the ring, but they both did so well."

"Before we booked Carina, we wanted to know what kind of friend she was, so we watched YouTube and our own content. I felt like she wanted to be funny. She's not a skinny girl, she looks girlish, but she's not that character at all, she's the big sister in the group, so she has a destiny to act and do something. I was so happy that she came and did so well."

Kim Do Hoon was also pleased. "When I first saw him, I had a very good impression. "I felt like Lee Seung-ki from 20 years ago," he said. "He was more immersed than I imagined during the recording, so I felt like he might get hurt. I felt like a time bomb, so I was worried and watched carefully, but I think I will do better in the future."

"Mystery Squad" was released on Nov. 18.
