'Inside Out 2' surpasses 5 million admissions in 18 days...a franchise record

Inside Out 2, the second installment of the beloved Disney-Pixar animated film Inside Out, which captured the emotions that everyone has and made them relatable to audiences around the world, surpassed 5 million moviegoers on June 29, its 18th day in theaters.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computerized network, Inside Out 2 has accumulated 5,009,329 viewers as of 10:30 a.m. on June 29th. Passing the 5 million mark in its 18th day of release, Inside Out 2 surpassed the final tally of 4,971,192 for its predecessor, Inside Out. With this new franchise record, Inside Out 2 continues its unstoppable run at the box office, holding the No. 1 spot for 17 consecutive days amidst the rush of new releases in theaters.

Inside Out 2, the sequel to the nine-year old Inside Out, continues to resonate with audiences as it explores the conflict between old emotions and the new ones that come with puberty.
