'Uncle Sam' Oh Seung-hoon "Song Kang-ho and Dae-maesin, clench your teeth and hold on"

'Uncle Sam' Oh Seung-hoon shares his impressions of working with Song Kang-ho:

On the afternoon of the 28th, actor Oh Seung-hoon, who stars in SportsToday and Disney+ original series "Uncle Sam" (directed by Shin Yeon-sik), met with SportsToday at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, to share his impressions of the work.

"Uncle Sam Sik" tells the heartwarming story of Uncle Sam Sik (Song Kang-ho), who makes sure to feed his children three meals a day even during the war, and Kim San (Byun Yo-han), an elite young man who wanted to create a country where everyone could eat well and live well, who try to fulfill their dreams together in the midst of chaotic times.

Oh Seung-hoon plays Ahn Ki-chul, the youngest son of Ahn Yoseop (Joo Jin-mo), the head of the Cheongwoo Club. He uses his wealth and power to take advantage of a coup conspired by his uncle Sam-shik and Kim San, pushing them into a crisis.

Later in the movie, Ahn Ki-chul bares his fangs when Sam-shik threatens his uncle. Speaking about the scene, Oh Seung-hoon said, "I really tightened my joints and clenched my teeth in the scene. "When we were rehearsing the scene where Ahn Ki-cheol ties Sam-shik's tie, Song Kang-ho laughed. He said that Ahn Ki-cheol's behavior was ridiculous."

"When he laughed like that, the atmosphere relaxed. I was incredibly nervous right before that," he said, adding, "When he looked into my eyes, I felt like I was naked. I felt like he was looking at my chest, not my eyes. I got sucked into it. I was very nervous, but when I focused on it, I actually relaxed."

In particular, Song Kang-ho had praised Oh Seung-hoon in an earlier media interview, saying that he was "the next big thing". In response, Oh Seung-hoon said, "I thought he was just a junior who was pretty, but I'm so impressed that he said it out loud. It gives me even more motivation to act harder."
