'Dokbak Tour 2' Inkyu Hong

"Dokbak Tour 2" has released its Macau episode and has been receiving enthusiastic responses from viewers at home, breaking its own record for the highest viewership ratings.

The 24th episode of Channel S's "Nidon Nasan Dokbak Tour 2" (co-produced by Channel S-SK Broadband), which aired on June 22, broke its own record for the second season with a viewership rating of 1.1% (based on paid channels), according to Nielsen Korea. The peak viewership per minute soared to 1.5%, and it ranked second in its time slot in the "Men and Women 2049" and "Men and Women 40s" segments, reflecting the overwhelming interest and support of younger viewers. Moreover, with the first broadcast of Season 3 confirmed for Saturday, August 24, the show has been performing well in terms of ratings and buzz, giving momentum to the long-term race of the 'Solo Tour' to Europe.

In the 25th episode of "DokBak Tour 2," which will air on Saturday, June 29 at 8:20 p.m., the "DokBaks" Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Seyoon, and Hong In-gyu will be traveling to Hong Kong through Macau's Kangju Ao Bridge and undersea tunnel, and will be on the last day of their trip when they face a crisis due to a sudden weather emergency.

On this day, 'DokBox' boards a 'direct bus' from the bus terminal in Macau to Hong Kong through an undersea tunnel. On the bus, Hong In-gyu suddenly asks, "Are we going into the water in a car?" and mentions a phone call he had with his wife the day before, saying, "Yesterday, my wife told me to be careful with cars and water." Hong In-gyu immediately calls his wife and asks her to "tell me again what happened in your dream yesterday." She describes a situation that is exactly the same as now, making Hong In-gyu freak out. However, when the bus enters the undersea tunnel, the surroundings become pitch black, and the members suddenly start to have a "honey sleep," which makes them laugh.

Finally, the group arrives at Lantau Island in Hong Kong and goes to the ticket office of a nearby cable car to see the Tian Tan Buddha statue, which Kim Dae-hee strongly recommends. However, they are surprised to learn that the cable car has been suspended due to the sudden weather. Jang Dong-min sighs, "It's a market day," he says. At this point, Kim Dae-hee offers a Solomon-like (?) alternative: "We can take a taxi up," to which Kim Joon-ho, who was previously voted the "transportation expense wizard," complains, "No, are you Buddhist?"

After arriving at their destination via taxi, the "Dokbaks" decide to buy umbrellas as the rainfall becomes even thicker. Kim Joon-ho then asks Hong In-gyu to pay for the umbrella, saying, "You got caught at the terminal earlier because you decided to be a dokbak(?)." Hong In-gyu cries and asks for mustard. Hong In-gyu cries and accepts by eating mustard, but when Dok-bakz turns his attention to the toy instead of the umbrella, he warns him to "only take what you need," and his "hawk's eyes" come out in full force, creating great chemistry.

With all eyes on whether 'DokBox' will be able to complete their tour of the Tian Tan Buddha statue in Hong Kong due to a sudden weather emergency, the final day of their trip to Macau can be seen in the 25th episode of Channel S's 'Nidon Nae San DokBox Tour 2' airing on Saturday, September 29 at 8:20 pm. Channel S is available on SK Broadband Btv on channel 1, KT Genie TV on channel 44, and LG U+TV on channel 61. It is also available on OTT platform Netflix.
