BTS V's special event for Ami wows fans with a special treat

BTS's special event impressed fans.

On May 15 at 1 p.m., BTS released the music and music video for their new digital single "FRI(END)S. The next day, on the 16th, the group held a special event, "FRI(END)S PARTY," in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, exclusively for ARMY (the name of their fandom), giving their fans a day like a gift.

The event was held on three floors. On the first floor, a special gift with a meaning of welcome was presented upon entry. The pink box contained a diffuser with the word "FRI(END)S," a photo postcard featuring V's mesmerizing visuals, and a handwritten letter from V herself. In the letter, V quoted the lyrics of FRI(END)S, "Let's put the 'end' in friends," and wittily asked, "ARMY, what kind of relationship are we?"

The second floor was made into a phone booth where people could listen to V's voice messages and write letters directly to him. Three pay phones were set up with "VOICE CALL FROM V" written on them, and fans could listen to three messages from V by combining the hints in the prompts and dialing the correct number.

In the voice message, V said, "How are you guys doing? I'm leaving you a message in case you miss me. I hope you all have a great time today, bye," or "Smarty, Army, how are you doing? How are you all doing in 2024? Let's get back together in good health and make more memories," she promised.

Next to the phone booth, a LETTER TO V space was set up for fans to write letters to V. Fans were encouraged to write their own letters, whether they were nostalgic or serious.

The third floor was decorated with a gallery of concept photos for FRI(END)S and a space to watch music videos. Fans were thrilled to see short films and other photos and videos that captured the meaning and mood of "FRI(END)S.
