VVUP, 'Doo Doom Chit' to launch in the music industry today (13th)...BTS composer and Rachika to support

Rookie girl group VVUP is making a bold entrance into the music industry with their first single.

VVUP (Hyunhee, Kim, Fan, and Sooyeon) will release their first single "Doo Doom Chit" at noon today (March 13) through various music sites. As a pre-release concept before their official debut, VVUP will also appear on various music programs with this song.

VVUP is a four-member rookie girl group composed of multinational members from Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand. 'VV' stands for 'W', the first letter of WIN, which means to keep climbing to the top. Backed by an ultra-luxury production team that spans music, performance, and music videos, the group has been trending on YouTube in Indonesia since before their debut.

"Doodum Chit" is a song that truly captures VVUP's skill and charm, featuring a colorful beat and an addictive melody that sticks in your head after the first listen. The song was produced by producer earattack, who has produced many K-pop hits such as BTS's "JJJJ," GOT7's "Hard Carry," and TWICE's "ONE SPARK," adding to the song's completeness.

The music video that accompanies the song was shot entirely on location in Los Angeles. The four members show off their 'teenage badass' side as they freely roam the city center of LA. The quick transitions between reality and imagination give the video a trendy and sophisticated appeal. VVUP is also shown performing military dances in various spaces, and their dynamic moves add to the song's appeal.

The music video for "Doo Doom Chit" was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who has collaborated with global pop stars Doja Cat and Ariana Grande. This is her first time directing a music video for a K-pop group, and it's a hip take on the beginning of VVUP's full-fledged universe.

The choreography was created by dance crew Rachika. Rachika has choreographed for some of K-pop's biggest artists, and we're excited about the synergy they'll bring to VVUP. Rachika will add to the fun of watching the stage with point choreography that wittily expresses the feelings of the unique songs.
