Bibiup officially debuts in the music industry with first single 'Rockdawn' today (Jan. 1)

Rookie girl group VVUP is lighting up the music industry with their four-member, four-color positive energy.

VVUP (Hyunhee, Kim, Fan, and Suyeon) will release their first single album "Locked On" at noon today (January 1) through various music sites.

Following their pre-debut single "Doo Doom Chit," VVUP will showcase their kitschy and hip charm.

The title track "Locked On" is a song that contains VVUP's identity and is characterized by a strong yet soft melody line. In particular, the choreography of the four members stroking their stomachs as if to convey comfort to the repeated phrase "Don't worry" is a key point, and the positive energy of the four members is incorporated throughout the song. Producer Ear Attack, who has produced hit songs for many of Korea's leading K-pop groups, worked on the song, and dance crew Rachika created the choreography to maximize the four members' four-color appeal.

The music video released alongside the song was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who has collaborated with global pop stars DoJaCat and Ariana Grande. The video is a coming-of-age drama that follows VVUP as they prepare for the 'talent show' and take the stage. Filmed all on location in Los Angeles, the movie is expected to showcase exotic scenery as well as the members' colorful facial expressions as they engage in cute nervous battles with rival groups.

VVUP is a multinational girl group composed of members from Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand. The group made their debut at the KCON HONG KONG 2024 pre-show on March 31, where they performed their debut song "Rock Dawn" for the first time, proving their global popularity.

Prior to this, VVUP's dance challenge video for their pre-debut single "Doo Doom Chit" has already garnered over 10 million views, showing the overwhelming support of global fans even before their official debut. Having successfully announced the arrival of 'Teenage Rascals', VVUP will further accelerate their flight to the top with 'Rockdawn'.
