VVUP to make official music industry debut on April 1 with 'Locked On'

Rookie girl group VVUP will make their official debut in the music industry on April 1.

VVUP (Hyunhee, Kim, Fan, and Sooyeon) will release their first single album "Locked On" on the first of next month. Just like the title of the song, which means "locked on," VVUP will show off their charms that you can't get out of once you fall in love with them.

While the four members announced the beginning of VVUP's worldview with their pre-debut single "Doo Doom Chit," which was released on the 13th, "Locked On" shows the identity of VVUP. The song is in line with the team's ambition to deliver positive energy to the public.

Producer earattack, who has created hits for K-Pop's biggest groups such as BTS's "JJEOL," TWICE's "ONE SPARK," and GOT7's "HARD CARRY," was in charge of the songwriting for "Rockdawn" after "Doodumchit. Dance crew Rachika participated in the choreography and maximized the synergy of the members with moves that incorporated their unique wit.

VVUP has been on an exceptional run since their debut with the support of an ultra-luxury production team, including music, performance, and music videos. Prior to their official debut, VVUP's "Doo Doom Chit" dance challenge video uploaded to their official SNS has accumulated over 13 million views and has garnered great attention from K-pop fans in Korea and abroad. With VVUP's kitschy and hip charm, the group has announced the emergence of 'teenage baddies' in the music industry, and it is expected that they will begin to take wings to win in earnest in 2024.
