Twice to Perform World Tour Encore at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA

The group TWICE will hold an encore performance as part of their fifth world tour in Las Vegas, USA, in March 2024, and will take to the stage of a large North American stadium once again.

On March 12 at 8 a.m., JYP Entertainment posted a poster on its official social media channels and announced that TWICE will hold an encore performance for their fifth world tour "TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE'" ('Ready to Be'). According to the announcement, TWICE will hold a solo performance at ALLEGIANT STADIUM in Las Vegas, USA on March 16, 2024 (local time). With this, TWICE will expand their tour to 45 performances in 26 locations around the world, marking the group's third North American stadium appearance of their career, and meet ONCE fans in more regions.

In May of this year, they became the first K-pop girl group to enter Japan's Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo. In June and July, they performed sold-out concerts at LA's SoFi Stadium and New York's MetLife Stadium, "the first time ever for a girl group worldwide," and in November, they were the first K-pop group to perform at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. In addition, the group will take the stage at nine large stadiums around the world, including Jakarta International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, on December 23rd, the Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico, next February, the Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil, and the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, United States, in March, raising their status as "stadium artists.

The encore performance in Las Vegas is part of the highly anticipated "TWICE 2024 Spring," which was announced on the 5th of this month. Earlier, TWICE released a poster on their official social media channels showing them holding hands under the sunshine and fresh trees, with the caption "Our youth is here and now," hinting at the special moments of TWICE's youth that will be unveiled. Following Dancon in Las Vegas, fans around the world are excited to see what's in store for spring.

TWICE has been gaining momentum as a "global top girl group" this year. With the release of their English single "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE" in January and their mini album "READY TO BE" in March, TWICE rose to prominence on various global charts, including the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200, and in March, TWICE became the first K-pop female artist to be honored with the 2023 Billboard Women In Music award. In Billboard's recently released 2023 YEAR-END CHARTS, READY TO BE and BETWEEN 1&2 ranked on a total of six charts, including the Billboard 200 Albums, a comprehensive album chart. Among them, Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales ranked the highest for a K-pop girl group at No. 7, and Top Album Sales Artist was the only K-pop female group to reach the Top 10.

On November 30, global music streaming platform Spotify released its "2023 Wrapped Year-End" chart, ranking the group at #7 on the "Top 10 Most Streamed K-Pop Artists" list, #26 on the "Top Groups of 2023" playlist, and #10 on the "Top Groups of 2023 Philippines" list. On December 1, "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE" was ranked No. 55 on "The 100 Best Songs of 2023" by Rolling Stone, a leading American music magazine. "The Miami bass-infused R&B track shows the group's artistic range beyond their signature genre and emphasizes their maturity," Rolling Stone wrote.

Riding high on the momentum, the group continues its fifth world tour. Kicking off in Seoul in April this year, the group will travel across the globe to Australia, Japan, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, with stops in Nagoya, Japan on December 16-17; Jakarta, Indonesia on December 23; Fukuoka, Japan on December 27-28; Mexico City, Mexico on February 2-3; São Paulo, Brazil on February 6-7; and Las Vegas, USA on March 16 to share memories with global audiences.
