IU "I'm leaving Korea next January, half excited, half worried"

Singer and actress IU has shared her plans for the new year.

On her YouTube channel "IU Official" on the 25th, IU told a staff member who asked about her plans for next year's activities, "I'm leaving Korea in January next year.

When the staffer said, "You won't be in Korea much in January," IU replied, "That's right. I want to include a new look and a lot of new pictures this time, so I will probably do the final work overseas."

IU, who revealed that she will spend most of 2024 overseas, said, "I really like Korea, but I'm half excited and half worried because I'm leaving to do something really fun."

When asked how she plans to finish the year, IU said, "I'm filming two commercials today, and then I'm traveling to Nonsan at night to shoot an all-day drama."

She continued, "The next morning, I'll fly to Seoul and shoot a drama all day, and that night I'll go to Andong. At dawn, we travel to Yeoncheon to film the drama." "The next day, we record the long-awaited title song, and the day after that, we record a song that is just as important as the title song," he continued.

When asked if her home must be unfamiliar, IU said, "My boiler keeps breaking down, which is good," and laughed, saying, "When I call a technician to fix it, it runs fine for about five hours, but as soon as I leave the house, the boiler stops working on its own."
