For the third year in a row, YG Entertainment will hold a massive global audition to find the next generation of K-pop stars.

YG Entertainment announced on April 8 that it will hold the '2024 YG GLOBAL AUDITION' from April to December. The audition will be held in a new range of cities as the number of participants increases every year.

Starting on April 27 in Toronto, Canada, the auditions will be held in 17 cities in 10 countries, including Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii in May; Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, New Zealand in June; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in July; Los Angeles and Seattle in August; Manila, Thailand, Philippines, and Jakarta, Indonesia in November; and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in December. Thailand is being organized in collaboration with YGMM, while Japan is organizing joint auditions with avex.

The contest is open to youth between the ages of 2006 and 2013, regardless of gender and nationality. Participants can choose the one thing they are most confident in: singing, rapping, dancing, or visuals.

Applications can be submitted both in advance and on-site. Pre-registration can be done through YG Entertainment's audition website via the QR code on the poster, while on-site registration can be done on the day of the audition. More information can be found on the official website and social media.
