VoiceNextDoor 'Reaches Half-Million Seller' with 530,000 Copies Sold in First Day

The group BOYNEXTDOOR has shown remarkable growth and set a new team record.

On April 22, BOYNEXTDOOR (Sungho, Liu, Myungjaehyun, TaeSan, Leehan, and Unhak) sold a total of 531,911 copies of their mini second album "HOW?" in the week following its release on April 15 (April 15-21), according to music sales aggregation site HanterChart. This is a nearly 20% increase from the 449,218 copies sold in the first week of its predecessor "WHY...". This marks the band's first "half-million seller" debut (first week sales).

Voynextdoor continues to epitomize stair-step growth with their new album "HOW?" and title track "Earth, Wind & Fire," which broke the group's previous highs on major charts and YouTube. Upon release, the album went straight to the top of Japan's Oricon Daily Album Ranking (April 15) and topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in five countries/regions. The music video for the title track surpassed 40 million views on YouTube around 4 a.m. on April 20, about five days after its release.

BoyNextDoor's overflowing chins and solid skills have also garnered a lot of attention. Starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 18th, the group performed their comeback stage on MBC's "Show! Music Center" and SBS's "Popular Yo". The members created a 'well-made stage' by showing off their dynamic performances in synchronization with the fast rhythm of the song while also showing off their solid vocals. In particular, they left a strong impression on viewers by singing the 'self-sped-up' section live, where they spewed out the lyrics like a rapid-fire cannon to create a double-speed effect.
