Group AESPA continues their 'Supernova' momentum with their new song 'Armageddon'.

A media showcase commemorating the release of aespa's (Karina, Winter, Giselle, Ning Ning) first full-length album 'Armageddon' was held at the Mastercard Hall at Blue Square Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on July 27 at 2 pm.

The showcase was held at

On the day, KARINA said, "This is my first showcase since 'Spicy'. Please look at it beautifully," she rhymed. "At the last showcase, we said, 'If it becomes a full album, I want to come back with an album that I'm 100% satisfied with,' and of course there are some regrets, but I'm confident in the title, so I think you'll love it, and I hope you'll love it. It's an album that the staff worked hard to make. It's an album that we and the company did our best for, so I hope it's loved a lot."

SPAR has achieved a "perfect all-kill" with another double title track, "Supernova," which was previously released and ranked first in both real-time and daily charts of major domestic music charts such as Melon TOP100, HOT100, Bucks, Genie, Flo, and Vibe. In addition, the group has been showing unprecedented topicality and popularity every day, such as exceeding 31 million cumulative streams on Spotify and winning three music broadcasting awards, so it is expected that they will show their performance with this full album.

Gisele said, "I'm so happy that the pre-release song 'Supernova' was loved so much, and I'm so happy as an artist to be able to release a full album this time. There are a lot of works that I really like, so please look forward to it," and Ning Ning said, "Of course, I'm very happy that it turned out so well. I'm very grateful to my company for their support, and I'm very grateful to my fans. We will continue to work hard for the rest of our activities while thinking about this good result."

SPAR proved once again that they have a unique 'beefy' flavor with 'Supernova'. Giselle said, "We are so grateful that the public welcomed our original concept with a new color that is unique to ESPA. It's nice to be able to show the strange, four-dimensional side of Espa," says Gisele.

SPAR's first full-length album in four years, "Armageddon," features a total of 10 songs, including the double title track "Armageddon" and "Supernova," with a variety of charms.

"This album marks the beginning of the second season of our multiverse expansion," Winter said, "and it's special in that sense. Many people have been wondering if we left the wilderness and broke up with I-ESPA, but since we expanded to the multiverse, we will be able to show a larger scale and various concepts, so we are looking forward to it very much, and we hope that many people will look forward to it."

When it comes to what they focused on most on the album, Winter said, "I think we all thought about what would be the most ESPAR-esque thing, not just the debut song, but everything we've done together, especially since it's our first album, so let's do something that's most us, and that's what we focused on."

SPAR

The title track, "Armageddon," is a hip-hop dance song with a heavy sound and a harsh, understated tone, and the lyrics convey the message of meeting different 'me's in different worlds and becoming a complete 'me,' and the performance shows the upgraded stage control of the members, who seem to be one with the groove and music that only ESP can express.

"I can't hide how good it is," Carina said of Armageddon. It's so good," she raves. "It's a hard-hitting song, and it's got an old-school, hip-hop feel to it. It opens Worldview Season 2, so it's about meeting me in the multiverse and becoming fully me, and it's about 'I can only be defined by me'. If 'Supernova' tastes like a can, 'Armageddon' is earthy. It's a little more poppy and deep, so it's a song that can be challenging at first, but the more you listen to it, the more addictive it becomes, and it's a good representation of our tradition."

Along the way, Espa has received favorable reviews for his live performance at recent college festivals. "Since I was a trainee, I often held evaluations with a hand microphone and danced without anything on," he says. I think a lot of people think it's beautiful because I've been training like that," she said.

SPA

Spa has been under fire lately due to the recent infighting between Hive and Adore CEO Min Hee-jin.

"I know about those issues," Carina said, "and I've heard about them from people around me. However, as it was our first full album, we worked hard to practice, and we prepared for this album with a lot of support and love, and the response was also very loving, so I think it was a satisfying start to our first full album. We are grateful to the public and thankful to the members and SM Entertainment for their hard work."

"Rather than thinking about it deeply, I think I accepted it as 'everything is going well for the first regular album,'" said E Winter.

Karina also said, "I recently met the New Directions guys at a music show and we exchanged hearts in the waiting room. They said, 'I love you' and 'I see you so well,' so I don't have any worries. They're good coworkers," she smiled.

Meanwhile, aespa will be actively interacting with their global fans through YouTube, TikTok, and Weibo's aespa channel with "aespa 'Armageddon' Countdown Live" starting at 5 p.m., one hour before the release of their first album.
