NCT Runzun "Apologizes to those who were hurt"

NCT's Runjoin has apologized for the phone number controversy.

"I would like to apologize to anyone who has been affected by my rash actions," Ranjun posted on his account on Nov. 21.

"In the heat of the moment, my judgment was very clouded and I made some poor choices," he apologized, adding, "I am truly sorry to anyone who was hurt or harmed by my actions."

On Dec. 20, Runzun released an 11-digit phone number through the paid fan engagement platform Bubble, writing, "Stop calling me, I'm releasing his number." He claimed the number belonged to his illegitimate son. However, it turned out that the owner of the number was not illegitimate and that it was a coincidence.

On the 21st, his agency SM Entertainment released an official statement saying, "We sincerely apologize to anyone who was affected by the disclosure of his contact information on an open platform."

I would like to apologize to anyone who was impacted by my indiscretion yesterday.

I always wanted to bring good energy with my music and stage, but in the heat of the moment, my judgment was very clouded and I made some poor choices.

I would like to express my sincere apologies to anyone who was hurt and harmed by my actions.

The victim is suffering because of my insensitive behavior. Please stop contacting the victim.

I am deeply remorseful and will be careful not to act this rashly in the future.

I apologize again to anyone who may have been hurt by my behavior.
