LESSERAFIM to perform at Coachella, the largest music festival in the U.S.

The group Reseraphim will take the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Coachella), the largest music festival in the United States.

According to this year's festival lineup, announced today (April 16), Le Seraphim has been invited to perform on April 13 and 20 at Coachella, which takes place in Indio, California, USA, for two weeks starting April 12. LeSeraphim is the only K-pop girl group on the 2024 lineup.

The invitation to perform at Coachella comes just a year and a half after the group's debut, making them the first Korean artist to perform at the festival in the shortest amount of time since their debut. The group is also the second K-pop girl group after BLACKPINK to be named to the official Coachella lineup. They are the first fourth-generation girl group.

In particular, the group is making its debut at Coachella, which has attracted a lot of attention from local music fans. It is highly unusual for an international new group to be named directly below the headliners in the Coachella lineup. Usually, the order of the lineup reflects the size of the stage and the duration of the performance, so it's a testament to Reseraphim's elevated status.

Coachella is one of the largest music festivals in the United States, having started in 1999 and attracting over 200,000 people each year. It attracts some of the hottest, most influential, and most talked-about musicians in the world. This year's lineup includes artists who have dominated the US Billboard charts and won multiple trophies at the Grammy Awards, including Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, and Tyler, the Creator. LeSeraphim is set to stand shoulder to shoulder with them and make a strong statement to global audiences.

The group released their first English-language digital single, "Perfect Night," in October of last year, and spent a week in the U.S., where they demonstrated their potential for local success with remarkable results. They spent two consecutive weeks on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 and broke the group's record for highest ranking and longest charting song on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs US.
