BlackPink Index Formalizes Private Label 'BLISSOO'...Rosé Is All That Remains

BLACKPINK member Jisoo has officially established her own label.

"I'm starting a new beginning with the name BLISSOO," Jisoo announced on her social media account on Nov. 21.

The company name is a combination of "Bliss," which means "happiness without limits," and Jisoo's surname, "Soo.

Earlier, Jisoo's baby and children's health supplement brand, Biomom, which is represented by her brother Kim Mo, announced its expansion into entertainment and recruited related staff, raising the possibility of establishing Jisoo's private label.

K-pop startup Blissu announced its partnership with Jisoo, saying, "Our mission is to cross the boundaries of genres and fields and share the happiness that Jisoo creates in our own special way."

Jisoo is the third member of BLACKPINK to launch an independent label. Jenny announced her independent label ODD ATELIER-OA last November, and Lisa announced her independent label LLOUD earlier this month. According to music industry sources, Rose is also preparing to launch her own label.

The four members of BLACKPINK have extended their contracts with YG Entertainment. The members are strongly committed to maintaining the group. However, they will continue their individual activities individually and are expected to challenge various fields other than singing.
