BabyMonster's Laura "We'll be a girl group that's hip, teeny, and full of YG's DNA" [Interview Preview]

Girl group BABYMONSTER's Laura showed off her extraordinary confidence.

BABYMONSTER (Luka, Parita, Asa, Ahnhyun, Rami, Laura, and Chiquita) held a round interview to commemorate the release of their first mini album 'BABYMONS7ER' at YG New Building in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 1st.

When asked about Baby Monster's unique appeal, Laura said, "I think Baby Monster is a group with YG's DNA. They are full of hip and teenage charm, and I think they have a lot of potential to develop. I think this will be our charm," she replied.

"We are a multinational group with members of different nationalities, so I think we can be more globally active, and I think we will be able to produce unique songs because we are full of powerful and hip charm," he said, adding, "There are many 7-member girl groups currently active, but we are going to believe in our own color and move forward with strength. I hope you can see it beautifully."

Meanwhile, Baby Monster is YG's first girl group in seven years after BLACKPINK, and they made their debut in the music industry with the release of "BATTER UP" last November. Unfortunately, AHYUN was unable to join the group at the time due to health issues, but she will be able to join the group for "BABYMONS7ER" and will be making her official debut as a full seven-member group.
