The group NewJeans' "Super Shy" has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify.

According to Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, "Super Shy," one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' (Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Harin, and Hyein) second EP "Get Up," has been played 567,057 times as of the past 14 days. This makes "Super Shay" the fourth song to reach 500 million streams in their career, following "OMG," "Ditto," and "Hype Boy.

"Super Shay" is a bouncy song with a jersey club rhythm and an energetic beat base, which hit the charts in Korea and abroad upon its release in July last year. In addition to peaking at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.), the song reached the Top 10 on various global charts, including No. 4 on the Spotify Global Daily Top Songs and No. 9 on the Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs. It also broke Newzynx's own record for highest chart position on multiple charts, spending eight and nine weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Official Singles Chart, respectively, peaking at No. 48 and No. 52.

NEWZINS has now had every song on its three albums (12) reach the billion-stream mark on Spotify. "OMG" has been played more than 600 million times, "Ditto," "Hype Boy," and "Super Shay" have been played more than 500 million times, "Attention" has been played more than 300 million times, "Cookie," "New Jeans," and "ETA" have been played more than 200 million times, and "Hurt," "Cool With You," "ASAP," and "Get Up" have been played more than 100 million times. To date, all of Newzine's songs have been streamed more than 4 billion times on Spotify combined.

In the meantime, pre-sales for Newzine's new double single, "How Sweet," which drops next month, will begin at 11 a.m. ET today. "How Sweet" will feature the title track "How Sweet" and the track "Bubble Gum".
