Newjeans Power, it worked for remix albums... line up the songs too

The remix version of a popular song by the group NewJeans is stimulating winter emotions and is receiving good responses on major music charts in Korea.

Six songs from the remix album 'NewJeans Winter Mix' (NJWMX) by NewJeans (Minzy, Daniel, Hani, HaeRin, and HyeIn) entered the Bucks real-time chart as of 9 a.m. on the 20th. "Ditto (250 Remix)" at No. 11, "OMG (FRNK Remix)" at No. 23 and "Attention (250 Remix)" at No. 33, followed by "Hype Boy (250 Remix)" at No. 47, "Cookie (FRNK Remix)" at No. 75 and "Hurt (250 Remix)" at No. 94.

The power of NUJINS to chart every time they release a new album is replicated on their remix albums. Of the 12 tracks on "NJWMX," all of the vocal tracks charted except for "Instrumental. It is interesting to note that the remixes of familiar songs that are still loved more than a year after their release, including "Ditto," "OMG," and "Hype Boy," which swept the top three spots on major Korean music charts throughout the first quarter of this year (January-March), are also gaining popularity.

As the remixes entered the music charts, Newzine's share of the domestic music charts became even stronger. Seven of the songs on Melon's Top 100 (as of 9 a.m. on the 20th) are from Newzine, and 15 and 12 songs are on the real-time charts of Bucks and Genie, respectively. Last year's debut songs and this year's releases have shown their "stickiness" on the charts, proving once again the existence of the "music powerhouse" Newzine.

'NJWMX' was released on the one-year anniversary of the release of 'Ditto,' the group's winter representative song, on December 19, and is a special gift from the group that expresses their desire to be with the Bunnies (fandom name) this winter.

While maintaining the special charm of the original songs, NUJINS' remixes have been reborn with a "NUJINS' winter" sensibility utilizing slavic, acoustic, and lo-fi sounds, captivating listeners.

Meanwhile, "Get Up," the second EP released by NUJINS in July, rebounded 18 spots from the previous week to No. 138 on the latest U.S. Billboard 200 main album chart (dated December 23). This marks the 21st consecutive week that "Get Up" has been on the chart since its debut at No. 1 (Aug. 5), making it the longest-running album by a fourth-generation K-pop group.
